Alexis DeJoria, Driver

We’ve had a tricky track here in Bristol, but that’s alright. When we went to our first final that first year, it was kind of the same deal- we didn’t qualify that well but we made it down in the heat on Sunday, and if we can do that tomorrow, we’ll be successful. We got down the track today in the heat of the day, running 4.16’s in each lane, which were some of the quickest runs of the day. Tomorrow we don’t have lane choice, but it doesn’t matter because we didn’t have lane choice when we went to our first final here either. We’ve got consistency, and we’ve been making it down the track. I’ve got my old friend John Force in the next lane in the first round tomorrow. He’s in my way right now in points, and we’re looking to narrow that gap tomorrow.
