Quotable:

One good thing I can take away from today is that I completely redeemed myself from last weekend. I got him off of the line (0.079-second reaction time vs. Beckman’s 0.087), which always makes me feel good. Any time you go up against Jack, you know he’ll likely have a really good reaction time, so any time I can get out there in front a little bit is a good thing.

Man, it was a close race. My Patrón Toyota Camry was a handful but I’ve got to give it up to my guys- Tommy [DeLago], Glen [Huszar], and the crew- for getting us down that racetrack. We made a solid run. There was a lot of tire smoking going on in front of me. We made a very good pass- fourth quickest of the session- but it just wasn’t our day today. Luckily, we get to go to Bristol in just a few days, and I get to do it all over again.
